The 2018 China International Import Expo will be held in Shanghai. In order to ensure the radio management of the Expo, the fair will be carried out smoothly, meet the radio frequency resource requirements of various radio services during the Expo, and ensure the legal radio during the Expo. The normal operation of the station (station) and radio transmitting equipment, minimizing all kinds of harmful radio interference and maintaining the order of airborne waves, the relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

l Radio frequency use

During the period of the CIIE, organizations or individuals who need to use radio transmission equipment in the venue area，should fill out the DECLARATION FORM OF RADIO FREQUENCY, THE CIIE IN SHANGHAI. SRAB shall make a decision on whether or not to grant permission in accordance with the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the management of Radio Operation，and the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the Radio Frequency Allocation and other regulatory documents. If the application is approved, SRAB shall issue a ‘Radio Frequency License for CIIE’.

l Radio equipment management

Organizations or individuals that have obtained the ‘Radio Frequency License for CIIE’，shall strictly abide by the relevant laws，regulations and regulatory documents on radio management when radio transmission equipment are used in the venue area. Radio transmission equipment can only be used within the time ,area and the technical specifications specified in the license.

Mobile phones and wireless network cards that access the public mobile network in China, Wi-Fi-enabled laptops and tablets, wireless remote control keys for cars and wireless remote control devices for cameras are used in the venue area without the need for SRAB's radio frequency license.

Except the above-mentioned devices, other short-distance radio transmission equipment, which do not normally need a radio equipment license, such as: wireless microphones, wireless telephones, toys with radio remote controller, public walkie-talkies, wireless cameras, shall not be used within the venue area without frequency licensing during the period of CIIE.

l Radio Transmission Equipment Entry and Exit Control

During the period of the CIIE, the ‘Radio Frequency License for CIIE’ and other required documents shall be presented to the Customs for the temporarily imported radio transmission equipment intended to be used in the venue area, and the equipment should be shipped out of China’s territory in accordance with the relevant Customs regulations.

l Radio interference complaints and supervision

If the radio equipment approved for use in the venue area is subject to radio interference, the relevant organization or individual may file an interference complaint with SRAB. SRAB will conduct radio management supervision and inspection based on the interference complaints received and other specific circumstances.

The user and owner of any radio transmission equipment that generates harmful interference, radio equipment, and non-radio equipment that uses radiated radio waves should take immediate steps to eliminate harmful interference.

l Others

ü The contents of this notice are interpreted by the SRAB.

ü The contents of this notice shall be implemented as of the date of promulgation, and shall be abolished after the end of the Expo.

ü The content of this notice does not include the approval of foreign-related temporary frequencies.
